THE art OF LETTING THE DAY BE real.
rooted in trust, flexibility, and images that feel alive.
I am not chasing trendy edits, overly blurred images, or wedding photos that could belong to anyone.
I want your gallery to feel clear, expressive, and grounded in the actual atmosphere of the day. The warmth of the room, the movement of your people, the quiet look across the table, and the slightly ridiculous thing that made everyone laugh.
Polished, yes.
Sterile, absolutely not.
I care about composition, light, color, movement, and detail but never at the expense of the feeling.
Sometimes that means giving you space to breathe. Sometimes it means stepping in to fix a distracting detail, shift the angle, or move us somewhere that works better. Sometimes it means bending the “rules” because the emotion is stronger than the technically perfect version of the image.
You will never be left standing there wondering what to do with your hands.
I give direction when it helps: small adjustments, natural movement, a little encouragement, and yes, probably a very sincere “you look gorgeous.” But I am not interested in forcing you into stiff poses or giving you prompts that make you feel like you’re acting in someone else’s romance movie.
My work is built on observation, intuition, and trust. I pay attention to the people in front of me before deciding what the photograph needs.
A carefully scouted location might work beautifully, or the best photo of the day might happen in a parking lot, hallway, courtyard, diner booth, or patch of weird light no one else noticed.
I guide when direction helps. I step back when the moment is already unfolding. And when plans shift, weather changes, or timelines start doing their own little interpretive dance, I stay calm and find the next best move.

“She knows exactly when and how to use it to bring warmth and life to every single frame. Her photos never feel posed or sterile. They breathe. They move."

CLOSE UP
After the wedding, your final gallery will be delivered within 6–8 weeks through a
PIN-protected online gallery. You’ll be able to download your images, share them with the people you love, and relive the day in all its honest, emotional, slightly chaotic glory.
On the wedding day, I’ll arrive ready to observe, guide, adjust, and document the day as it unfolds. I’ll step in when direction is needed, step back when the moment needs space, and keep saying, “Don’t worry, we’ll make it work,” because we will.
As the wedding gets closer, we’ll talk through timeline details, photo priorities, locations, family portraits, and anything that needs a little extra thought. If something feels uncertain, we’ll make a plan. If the plan changes, we’ll make another one.
Once you’re ready, your date is officially reserved with a signed contract and retainer. After that, we can breathe a little. Your photographer is booked, and you have someone in your corner who is ready to help make the photo side of things feel clear.
From there, we’ll move the conversation to email and schedule a phone call. We’ll talk through your vision, venue, timeline ideas, priorities, and any specific moments or people you want documented. This is also where you can feel out my energy and make sure we click.
Fill out the inquiry form with your date, location, and whatever details you already know. You do not need to have every single thing figured out. Tell me what you’re planning, what you’re excited about, and what feels most like you.
Here’s what working together actually looks like.

02. What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?
01. Can you recommend locations for our elopement or engagement session?
Absolutely. It all depends on your vision. Let’s connect to go over your ideas first, and then I’ll put together a list of locations that match what you’re looking for.

Then you are in very normal company.
Most people feel a little awkward at first. My job is to help you settle in, give direction when it helps, and keep the energy light enough that you stop overthinking every move. You do not need to know how to pose. You just need to show up as yourselves.

We make it work.
Snowstorm, rain, wind, strange lighting, unexpected location change. None of that automatically ruins your photos. Sometimes the imperfect conditions create the most memorable images. I’ll help us adjust, find the best option available, and keep things moving (while prioritizing safety, of course!).

Backyards, courtyards, forest camps, small-town celebrations, old family homes, diner stops, nontraditional outfits, no bridal party, no first look, no perfectly polished timeline, I’m here for wedding days that feel like the people planning them.

I include all of the carefully curated images that belong in your final gallery.
I do not believe in holding back strong images just to fit a number. Every wedding is different, and the final gallery depends on the timeline, events, people, and flow of the day. My priority is quality, storytelling, and making sure the gallery feels complete.
